Terms of Use

1. The Service

Bite generates AI-powered summaries of YouTube videos. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyse video content and produce structured summaries, Q&A cards, audio narrations, translations, social media posts, and exportable documents. You may also ask questions about a video using the AI Chat feature. All AI-generated content may not perfectly represent the original content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.

2. Account Registration

You must sign in with a valid Apple account, Google account, or email address to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

3. Subscription Plans

The App requires a Bite More subscription to access its features. New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial on the Bite More plan. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

The App uses a monthly credit allowance. Each summary, audio narration, and translation deducts credits based on the length of the content. Social post generation costs 10 credits per generation. Translations cost 10 credits each. AI Chat is included at no additional credit cost. Unused monthly credits do not carry over.

• Bite More ($9.99/month or $59.99/year): 900 credits per month (approximately 24 hours of video summaries), plus AI Chat, audio narration, social post generation, export, and translation.

Bite More subscribers may also purchase additional top-up credit packs through the App. Top-up credits never expire but can only be redeemed while an active Bite More subscription is in place. If your subscription lapses, your top-up credits are preserved and will be accessible upon resubscribing.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Account Settings.

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. We will notify you of price changes in advance.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service
• Publish misleading, harmful, or offensive content to the Community Library
• Resell or redistribute summaries generated by the App for commercial purposes
• Use the service in a way that places disproportionate load on our infrastructure, including excessive or automated use of audio narration, AI Chat, translation, or other resource-intensive features beyond normal personal use
• Share account credentials or allow multiple individuals to use a single subscription

5. Community Library and Moderation

If you publish summaries to the Community Library, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users of the App. You retain ownership of any original commentary you add. AI-generated summary content is provided by the service and is not subject to copyright ownership claims.

Content moderation: Community summaries can be reported by any user via the Report button on the summary screen. Reports are reviewed against our community guidelines and, when confirmed, the offending summary is removed and the responsible account may be suspended. AI-generated summaries are also pre-validated by a separate model before being shown, and content that fails safety checks is filtered automatically. 6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its underlying technology are owned by Bite AI Ltd. Summaries are generated from publicly available video content using AI. We do not claim ownership of the original video content. Your use of summaries should respect the intellectual property rights of content creators.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be accurate or complete. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or misrepresentations of the original material.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bite AI Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably determine that your usage constitutes abuse of the service. Abuse includes, but is not limited to, activity that generates disproportionate infrastructure costs, circumvents usage limits, or otherwise undermines the service for other users.

In cases of abuse or violation of these Terms, we may cancel your subscription and revoke access without a refund for the current billing period. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

If your account is terminated due to a billing or technical error on our part, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the remaining subscription period.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
